Edibles from standard chests give a short boost, so save them for when it counts. Boosts of the same kind add up. Fight snacks are packed for your next fight.
Cracking it gives
Hold to swing and let go before the pickaxe overheats. Glowing cracks take ×5 and cool it, so hit them all and you can keep holding. When the meteor flares, stop: hits are blocked and heat builds three times as fast.

Workshop
Upgrades for this run. They reset on a new impact, so spend freely.
Everything in the Workshop is kept through a new impact and is paid in coins. Sell ore in the Smelter to get coins. Coins themselves are lost on a new impact, so spend them first: buy drone points, which stay.

Permanent upgrades
An ore card turns up now and then when you break a rock of that ore. It gives 10% more of that ore, and a gilded copy gives 25%. A meteor card comes with each cracked meteor and adds 2% damage on every meteor. Crack a meteor in a single fight from full health to gild its card for 5%.

Deliver bars for gems and contract points. Contract upgrades last until your next new impact, and you can refund them at any time.
Contract upgrades
Glowing rocks hold a vein. Breaking one gives a vein shard of the zone you are digging in, and the shards pay for research that is kept forever.
Tap a skill to read about it. Each branch is learned from the top down; where it forks, either skill opens the next row. Skills are permanent. Points come from cracked meteors, relic chests and ten fragments from chests and capsules.
Each challenge has several steps. Every step pays medals, and medals buy permanent upgrades that are kept through a new impact.
Coin upgrades
Each drone wears one suit, and the suit's ability works while it is worn. More drones means more suits at work. Every suit you own also counts towards the collection bonus below.

For real money
These can only be had by paying. In the prototype nothing costs money: switch a perk on to feel how it affects the pace, and off again to compare, and the packs below hand out their contents at once. Prices are tiers until the store sets them. The game screen shows when paid items are in use.

Chests
The two meters on the game screen fill up as you and your drones break rocks. A full meter gives a chest, and the next one takes a little more, up to a limit set by how tough the rocks are in your zone.
Edibles from standard chests go in the bag on the game screen.
Relics
Relics come from relic chests and from cracking a meteor. Each relic chest rolls a tier: . Relics are permanent and stay with you after a new impact.
